How is Spongebob Squarepants different from other cartoons or TV shows?
I am working on a Spanish project advertising a certain show. A lot of people claim that the cartoon Spongebob Squarepants has done well because it is different from most other cartoons, I was wondering how is it different?

Well, He is a sponge that lives in the sea, he lives in a pineapple and so on…
its different because it was supposed to be an adult cartoon with adult jokes and stuff like that until they found out that more kids than adults watched it and actually LIKED it,so it became a kids cartoon on Nickelodeon
Its Different becuase it has more laughs than other shows.
Also, the show is brilliant becuase the creator made a tv show out of a sponge, starfish, squid and other stuff of sea animals.
I mean the Fairly Odd Parents is funny, but Spongebob is better becuase Patrick is dumb and Spongebob is really wierd but funny.
It’s different and special because most cartoon shows are about kids or teenager that go to school and live with their parents, while all the characters on SpongeBob are adults, live by their own and have jobs, and even thought they are adults they’re still kids at heart, but living like adults. Also it’s set underwater, I mean, how awesome is that!?
It’s even different on it’s animation; the background are painted by hand and the show is pretty much drawn then animated.
It’s really funny and super original, that’s why it’s the best =D
Its bright and cheery and its under the sea which makes it even more fun the critters are cute and the fact that they can have an entire town under the sea is neat
Because it appeals to both adults and children in the manner that the jokes are mature in nature but not dirty and slap-knee. I admire how the show doesn’t insult kids’ intelligence and actually still uses the same brand of comedy it has been using since it’s beginning. Plus SpongeBob’s jovial nature, Patrick’ bewilderedness, Squidward’s cynicism, and Crab’s greed just go perfect for kids and grownups. Main thing: The jokes can be interpreted so that while the kids get the surface joke, we’re laughing at the hidden meaning behind it.
